Alexandra Gardens were opened by Princess Christian, Queen Victoria's daughter, on the 15th of July 1902.
The gardens run alongside the River Thames and offer views of Windsor Castle, which is located half a mile away. With a bandstand and plenty of grassed areas, the gardens are perfect for picnics.
